How to make an Appointment

You can book appointments online with Patient Access. Please remember that before you are able to use this service you must register for our online services.

You will be asked by the Reception Team for a brief outline of your symptoms, this is to assist us to direct you to the most appropriate member of clinical staff.

We aim to offer an appointment on the day of your choice and also are able to book a follow up appointment within two weeks for a GP and three weeks for the Practice Nurse.

You do have a right to express preference as to the GP you wish to see, however the GP of your choice may not be available  and you may be offered an appointment with another doctor.  If you prefer, you can see the doctor of your choice, but obviously you may have to wait longer for your appointment.

Telephone Advice

If you wish to speak to a Doctor or Nurse over the telephone ring the surgery on 01744 624808 and speak to one of the receptionists who will advise you on a convenient time to do so.

Please note that telephone calls to the Ormskirk House Surgery may be recorded. This is for training purposes and for  Security reasons.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. You can do this by using our online form or calling us on 01744 624808.
